Decorated Wooden Box 24cm: Rome
A Square varnished Decorated Wooden Box – Rome design, with a decoupaged lid.
The inside is lined with Red felt.
The lid is decorated with a border of paint pearls, and both the lid and front have a Red wooden button Butterfly.
Size: 24cm width x 24cm depth x 10cm height.
Bronze coloured metal hinges, clasp and metal corners.
For decoupage I use paper napkins or rice paper, both will show small creases due to the process. I make no claim to the artwork / design of the papers used.
On lighter colour papers the woodgrain could show through.
Wood is a natural product and shade variations and different textures are characteristics of the boxes.
This box is not a toy, and not suitable for very young children, due to the metal hinges, catch and any small decoupage.
