Decorated Wooden Box 16cm: Blue Floral
Size: 16cm width x 12cm depth x 9cm height
The lid – is decoupaged with a Blue Floral design, and decorated with paint pearls. The woodgrain of the box does show through. It has been sealed and Matt varnished. The edge of the lid is painted in Blue furniture chalk paint.
The lower half of the box is decoupaged in a darker Blue floral design which has been sealed and finished with matt varnish.
The inside is colour washed in Blue chalk paint, with the grain of wood showing through. The bottom is lined with Blue felt.
Finished with chrome coloured clasp and hinges.
Wood is a natural product and shade variations and different textures are characteristics of the boxes.
My Boxes are decorated with the decoupage technique using either paper napkins or rice paper. Small surface creases are part of the finished texture. On lighter colour papers the woodgrain could show through. I make no claim to the artwork / design of the decoupage paper used.
I try to show my Decorative Boxes as accurately as possible, but different tablets / monitors could show colours slightly differently from the original product.
This box is not a toy, and not suitable for very young children, due to the metal hinges, catch and any small embellishments.
