A varnished Decorated Wooden Box, with decoupaged African Silhouette and Giraffe design on the lid and front. With metal hinges, clasp and corners, and felt lined.

Description
A Square varnished Decorated Wooden Box, with a decoupaged African Silhouette design on the lid.
The inside is lined with Orange felt.
There is a decoupaged giraffe design on the lower front of the box.
Size: 16cm width x 16cm depth x 8cm height.
Antique brassed coloured metal hinges, clasp and metal corners.
For decoupage I use paper napkins or rice paper, both will show small creases due to the process.
On lighter colour papers the woodgrain could show through.
Wood is a natural product and shade variations and different textures are characteristics of the boxes.
This box is not a toy, and not suitable for very young children, due to the metal hinges, catch and any small decoupage.
